header issue
I am using Word 02 XP. When I open a new document the curser starts at the
middle of the page. When I check the header (no text) I find it takes up ½ of that page, forcing the curser to its middle of the page position. I can’t get rid of this oversized header. When I fill up the first page the oversized header jumps to the second page and the first page header returns to a normal size (no text). I have also found that other users of this computer can open word documents under their profiles and their documents don’t have this issue. |

header issue
The problem could be the vertical alignment setting:
Select File Page Setup Layout tab. Make sure “Vertical alignment” is set to “Top”. If you change the setting, click the “Default” button to change the setting in your Normal.dot template. -- Regards Lene Fredborg - Microsoft MVP (Word) DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Mikey" wrote: I am using Word 02 XP.
