Outlook Mail Merge to WinFax Pro
I bought WinFax Pro 10.03 in order to do Mail Merge to Fax, using
selected contacts in my Outlook Database. I loaded the two macros that were availble for MS Word and Excel in WinFax Pro. However, I was wondering if any of you have used this and did it work? I installed the Word and Excel Macros from WinFax Pro. So now I started the test process by going to Mail Merge in Tool of MS Outlook 2002. When I opened the Mail Merge Box the options in the drop down boxes on the bottom we Document Type Merge to ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Form Letter New Document Mailing Labels Printer Envelopes Email Catalog No option for fax. When I got into the Merge Document there were sent to icons but the send to fax option was grayed out and not working. Does anyone know how you physically do this mail merge faxing from Outlook? |

Not with WinFax, unfortunately. Your best bet is to get hold of Symantec,
the folks who publish and support WinFax and ask them. Hal -- Hal Hostetler, CPBE -- Senior Engineer/MIS -- MS MVP-DTS -- WA7BGX http://www.kvoa.com -- "When News breaks, we fix it!" Outlook Mail Merge to WinFax Pro
Firstly you have to set everything with the menu of Tools-Program Setup
in WinFAX Message Manager. Then from Outlook2002 , push FAX button on the top or follow the menu action-New WinFax to send FAX. Mail Merge is a function in Word2002's menu TOOL-WinFAX Mailmerge and is anotherthing to use WinFAX function from Word. Duke wrote in message ...
