Why can't I run a Microsoft Visio report with a macro?

I am new to Visio but do know how to create and run a macro. However I am
trying to create a macro wherby I can generate a Microsoft Visio report when
it runs. I have been recording the steps required to create the Viso report
however when I run the macro I get nothing.

I would appreicate assistance

Create a report and then drag the report shape into a stencil. Now you can
manually or programmatically drop the report shape on the page to run it.
If you look at the report shape's Shapesheet, you should see the
RunAddonWArgs calls that the shape supports.

Thanks for the quick response Mark..

I had worked out how to create the report shpae into the stencil, however
what I am trying to do is create a page in my document that has a list of all
of the reports for the entire document and I can run them by selecting a
button to run the macro and hence report.

Your help is appreciated.
