alexanderd,
In the custom animation taskpane, click on the arrow next to size; next to custom click in the box delete the value and type the % value you want and press enter. Does that work for you? -- Luc Sanders (MVP - PowerPoint) "alexanderd" schreef in bericht ... "grow / shrink"
The crucial (and not very obvious) step is to press the enter key after
changing the value (not just click to close) -- email john AT technologytrish.co.uk "Glass" action buttons - http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/pptbuttons.html Personalised calendars - http://technologytrish.co.uk/calendars "alexanderd" wrote: "grow / shrink" will not accept a change in the % value. can any one suggest how this can be resolved .???? -- alexanderd |

further to my request for help this is part of a project in which there are
some 12 photographs on a page. Each in turn goes to the centre of the page and grows in size (thank you for your help on that), whilst the first picture is on top all the remaining pictures when expanded and moved to the centre are underneath the first one. how or what must i do so that each picture come to the front as it is clicked. -- alexanderd "alexanderd" wrote: i just thought changing the figures would work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! silly me thank you to all who replied to my call for help -- alexanderd "John Wilson" wrote: The crucial (and not very obvious) step is to press the enter key after changing the value (not just click to close) -- email john AT technologytrish.co.uk "Glass" action buttons - http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/pptbuttons.html Personalised calendars - http://technologytrish.co.uk/calendars "alexanderd" wrote: "grow / shrink" will not accept a change in the % value. can any one suggest how this can be resolved .???? -- alexanderd |

"grow / shrink"
I've got this one.
First answer isn't in the animations. The answer is to stack your pictures (using bring forward and send backwards) in the order you will be showing them. Second answer is to give each picture an exit animation as well as the entrance animation. Select all the pictures, give them an exit animation of disappear or fade. Then drag the animations up the timeline to just after the appear of the next one.If the new picture is on top, the exit will happen without being seen. If the new picture is underneath the current one, then the current one will exit and the new one will show. If you really want to get tricky, you can set the timing on the exits so that each picture goes away while the new one is growing in. (check out the delay options for your animations to make this happen.) -- -- Kathryn Jacobs, Microsoft MVP OneNote and PowerPoint Author of Kathy Jacobs on PowerPoint - Available now from Holy Macro!
