Default "folders stuck in another folder"

I have a folder titled alphabet...
Each time I create a slide it is saved there.

So far I've created folders for these files.
When trying to relocate them the program
does not permit me move them outside the
box where they are located.

Any suggestions, please?

Laurette,
It is not quite clear waht your problem is. You say every time I create a
slide you save it? You mean you save the presentation as a whole, containing
one or several slides.
You are trying to move the folders you created? Are you trying to do that in
PowerPoint? Then you can right click the folder, cut, choose your destination
folder and paste. Do this while no PPT file is opened.
That said, I much prefer to move folders in Windows Explorer, there you can
see the whole folder tree and it is much easier to move them. You can simply
drag the folder to its destination folder and release the mouse button. All
resident files (presentations) will move with it.
If I misunderstood your question, just post back and clarify.
