Default Email font size in body changes randomly after the message is sent

Hi All,

We're having a problem with about 10 of our users (that have reported it)
were by their email font size in body changes randomly after the message is
sent.

The message looks fine to the user as they are typing it and only notices
the font size change when someone replies to them or they go into their sent
items (or both).

In troubleshooting the problem:

* we've disabled non-essentials add-ins,
*made sure the affected users weren’t using Word as their default email
editor,
*changed their default email formatting from HTML to Rich Text

but none of these made a difference.

We're using:
Outlook 2003 SP1
Windows XP Pro SP2

Add-ins not disabled:
Advance EAS extension (Email Archiving Solution)
Hummingbird DM email integration (Document Management)
Microsoft Outlook DM extension (Document Management)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Evan

This is happening to my users also.

Lots of people on here have posted about it but no one has replied with an
answer!

HELP!

My user's sent mails are having chunks of the text increase in font size
randomly.

This happens to my users also (O2003, Ent Exch 2003, XP - all with
latest service packs per WSUS).

Also, you pretty much can't cut and paste without seeing font color,
size and other changes due to pulling along HTML code. Why, oh why,
don't they allow us to set PASTE WITHOUT FORMATTING as the DEFAULT in
Office programs????????

Of course, plain text mode doesn't have these issues, but then it isn't
as cute.

Do you think anyone is likely to address this - there seem to be a lot of
people who've complained about it and no one has replied!

It's very frustrating and looks incredibly unprofessional when you're trying
to send mails to clients.

Default Email font size in body changes randomly after the message is

We have a user that is seeing this intermittent problem where
periodically when he sends a message the font size on only the body
text changes from 10 to 12. The size of the greeting and closing
remain at 10.

He is using the default font size which is 10 for all message types.
Word as email editor is off. The text in his emails is what is
spontaneously changing here. He just typed the message, does no any
additional formatting, and no signature is used. He sent the message,
but when he received the reply, he noticed that in his original the
body text size was larger. He checked the message in his sent items,
and the body text is larger there too, but when he sent the message
everything was the same size, 10.
