The default path to your pst file is C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook You have to enable "show hidden files and folders" in the folderoptions! also, for the past two months, it has taken a full minute for outlook to open. what could be wrong? Have you empty your deleted Item Box? Have you installed any Addons? How big is your PST File? -- you can visit me on http://www.andreas-roeder.net newsgroup[at]andreas-roeder[dot]net |

Hello Gordon, you wrote on Thu, 25 Aug 2005 12:55:21 +0100:
XP considers pst files to be hidden so in Windows Explorer you will have to enable hidden files. pst-files are _not_ hidden by default. Only the default folder, in which the file is stored, is an hidden folder, so the windows search is not able to find files (hidden or not hidden) which are are stored in it. ;-) -- Best Regards Christian Goeller |
