I have a microsoft word document which I would like to put
inside a database. I don't want to us a hyperlink since
it must travel with the database. Any ideas?

Use a bound OLE field. Keep in mind that it may bloat considerably so that
you may not be able to get more than a hundred or so into the database.

Alternatively, keep both the database and any documents
that you attach to it in the same folder and always travel
with the whole folder, not just the db. This way you can
use hyperlinks and not bloat your db.
