after I scan a form, how do I "freeze" it so I can tab/type from .
I fill out the same 10 forms at work by hand. I want to scan those forms and
be able to type in (only) the appropriate fields without having everything (ie. the form) change. I know how to scan documents, but not necessarily what program to scan them to. I have Office 2003. I know how to edit documents after they have been scanned, but I have to spend to much time reformatting the "form". Please help... as this could save me tons of work, writing the same info on all these forms. |

To scan forms while retaining the format in an editable document, you need
specialty software designed for scanning forms. An example of such software can be found he http://www.scansoft.com/omniform/ Another solution would be to create the forms from scratch using MS Word -- type "Form" in Help for assistance.
