Multiple users, one PC, automatically reading their Exchange mail
We have a domain-based network setup in our small office, with roughly 20
users. There is one machine alone in an office that will be used by everyone for its scanner. We want to allow users while they're at that machine to access their email after logging in. Is there any way, such as a script, to set up Outlook 2003 on the machine so that it will automatically detect and use the individual Exchange 2000 email accounts based upon the network domain logon? This is the example we want to occur: Let's say Joe walks into the office, logs in as J.Schmoe scans something, then wants to check his mail. Since he had to log on as J.Schmoe to access the computer, Outlook should automatically pull up his exchange account and he can access his email as though he logged onto the network as J.Schmoe on his own office PC. If there's any way that this can be done, please let me know. Thanks. |

Yes, this can be done with the tools in the Office Resource Kit. See
