Default page status bar has disappeared

I have a 14 page publication that I am working on and it has always worked
fine.
And I have already tried to click on View/Status bar and it is checked (I
tried unchecking and then rechecking w/o success.) I tried adding another
blank page and nothing.
Please help!
Sarah

Try maximizing, restoring, moving, or resizing your Publisher window? It
may be that you've restored it from a maximized state and moved it such
that the status bar is hidden by the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Hi Ed,
Thanks for the speedy response! That was exactly the problem. Geez, you'd
think I had never used MS Office products before
Thanks for the advice.
