Default turn off task pane in 2k7

How do I turn of the task pane when I first start up publisher 2007. It
opens to the Format Publication tab.

Thanks
Mike

You can't. You can tear it off and make it small and drag it to a less intrusive
part of the screen. Publisher does remember this and it will be small the next
time you open Publisher. Just remember all tasks on on this pane. So if you
decide to open the design checker or any other dialogue, you will have to drag
the pane back. You don't have to re-size, just drag it back so you can use it.
