Default Signature in Table and Replying/Forwarding Emails Problem

I created my signature in a table using the advanced editor (Word) as
suggested by Outlook Help online. The problem now is that when I reply or
forward a message the original message appears halfway across my email and I
have to manually enter returns in order to get the original message beneath
the new message.

I have used the shift + enter commands at the end of each line and at the
end of the table. I have also tried to expand my table the nearly the exact
width of the page, but still no help!

Any suggestions on how to get the original message beneath the new message
when using a table for the signature?
