I want to link a pdf document to an access db, is that possible?

Default I want to link a pdf document to an access db, is that possible?

I want to be able to have a check box on the db to access scanned pdf
documents, or scanned word documents stored in another file. Is that
possible?

I was writing an attachment function a few weeks ago and did something
like this. Don't know how helpful it is, but check it out:

I have been using Document Link for that very purpose.
