Default Visio 2000 configure timeline dialog box

I am working with a drawing type: Project Schedule = Timeline Template. When
I drag & drop the timeline shapes or backgrounds, I get an error: "Unexpected
error; quitting" However, the object drops to the drawing & I can continue
working with the application. I get the same error when trying to access the
configure timeline dialogue box via a right click on the object & choosing
"configure timeline." I gather from searching on the net that the timeline
object I drop onto the page should automatically present the configure
timeline dialog box.

Suspecting this might by a bug related to the "chart shape wizard," I have
tried to resolve via a solution described he
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/267253
but no luck...

any suggestions? thanks!

this issue is now resolved. I work with Visio via Citrix. My Citrix
administrator followed the steps in the Microsoft soltuion (via link above)
-- including step #3: Start Visio and then run the Wizards listed in the
"Symptoms" section of this article to add their respective registry entries.
This step was necessary to clear up the problem for me as a user.
