e Mail attachment
I received an attachment recently, which, when I opened it, appeared as
gobbledegook- I have Windows xp and Offfice 2000 & it seems the attachment was written in Office 2007. I forwarded the e mail and attachment to another computer and it appeared as normal, but the second computer does have Office 2007. I have never ever had this problem before. What has happened-do I need to upgrade to Office 2007 or later? |

Not necessarily, you just need to tell the people who send you office
attachments to save them in compatibility mode so that your version of office can read them. Another guess................
Have the sender send the file as "Plain Text" rather than "Rich Text Format".
