Default Outlook 2003 problem

Just installed Office 2003 and when receiving messages in Outlook - some are arriving with no name in the "From" column, the internet header in the body of the message and they take an very long time to open.

Some of these messages are forwarded by people in my office (who forward me other messages that I receive with no problem) and some are sent to me directly.
The common factor seems to be that the messages are from Japan and using ISO-2022-JP as the character set.

Am I missing something in my set up.....I didn't have this problem in my previous version of Outlook.
