Default Can you insert a file name with it's path on a Visio Org Chart?

In other Micosoft products, there is a function that allows you to show the
file name and it's path on printed documents. Is there anything like that in
Visio?

In the newest version (Visio 2003), add a text box to your drawing and then choose "Insert/Field". In the list of categories, choose "Document Info" and in the list of fields choose "directory" and/or "filename". This appears to be similar to the Insert Field function in Word.

I can't vouch for earlier versions of Visio, however. I recently upgraded to Visio 2003, and in general, it functions a lot more like the other office apps. Earlier Visio versions had a look and feel that was distinctly different from the other office apps.

Since the beginning, Visio has had the concept of background pages that can be attached to other pages. This allows the user to place common information in the same location on all pages that has this page as a background. In addition to the Document Info Mark mentions, there are fields that will place the name of the drawing page, page number and number of pages on the page. The page name and page number on a background page refer to the page name and page number of the foreground page that the background page is attached to.

Visio also has header and footers, but the information is limited and does not include file paths.
