Default trouble at importing gmail contacts to outlook

When trying to import a csv file produced in gmail to outlook the folder is
empty.
I cannot choose which folder to import the csv file because no folder
appears. However, I can see all the usual folders of contacts, calendar,
inbox...can you help me!

Too little information. State your Outlook version, how you created the CSV
file, the precise steps used for importing and what happens.
