Default click on same contact in outlook getting pop up- Contacting the se

About 1 month ago I began having trouble opening email from college....
whenever i click on that particular email, i get a pop up saying:
"Contacting the server fro information"

It takes several seconds for it to stop scanning and finally opens. I've
contacted the webmaster for the college site and they're looking into it but
have had no complaints?

I haven't changed or done anything different in my outlook since this
particular contact began doing this. I have always had this contact added to
safe sender lists, domain, etc. in junk mail.
Any suggestions on how to make this stop?

I do use outlook to sync with iPhone and currently have error message saying:
"Operation failed and object couldn't be found"
despite i have done several pst scans for repairs and corrected them. I
believe the error message is referring to some of my reminders not working?

As i wrote below:

it but have had no complaints?

I am also getting error message when i open outlook that may be related:
Operation failed. An object couldn't be found.

I have tried run: outlook/reminders and outlook/ resetfolders but still there.

I;ve already ran and repaired with ScanPST but still there?

I always check "notify me of replies" but haven't been receiving email and
in past when i did and clicked on link.....nothing opened.

Seems like PST issue here.....size of PST file 3.30 GB. Could that be
related?

It sounds like its an HTML message with external content.
Are you using antivirus scanner on incoming email? That can also cause
problems.

I apologize but noticed i kept saying CONTACT. That's incorrect.
The "contacting serve for information" box pops up (& freeze any further
Outlook activity for 15-30 seconds) when ever this particular email is
highlighted in the preview pane. I do NOT have this problem when opening any
other email.....just this particular one.

This started few weeks ago and wonder if this is an Office update issue.
Have tried searching on Microsoft Help and nothing!!!

I've googled "Contacting the server for information" and there are many
others having this same issue.

Again, all other emails open fine, just problem with this particular email
and it didn't used to do this???

Also, any ideas why am i not receiving notices when getting replies in my
outlook?
