Using Outlook 2003 with Win XP Pro. Keep getting error
about invalid addin. Previously used Win ME & Office 2000 PRO - full installation. Upgrading to Win XP, used 'files & settings transfer wizard' to backup all docs & settings, including e-mail settings & folders from outlook. Formatted hard disk, installed Win XP pro from scratch. Installed Office 2003 Pro. Restored files & settings. Now get error on starting Outlook 2003. Can't find sbcmsync.dll or extend.dat on hard disk. No mention of sbcmsync in addin manager. Any suggestions pleas? Thankyou |

Yes, showing all files & folders & system files.
But file search still returns no trace of either file. Thanks -----Original Message----- Are you showing all hidden files and folder in Windows Explorer, tools, folder options? are you using the advanced search option to search hidden files and folders?
it's settings are independent of the tools, options settings. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Author, Google and Other Search Engines (Visual QuickStart Guide) Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Join OneNote Tips mailing list: http://www.onenote-tips.net/ "Neil Williams" wrote in message ...
