can I edit a picture to look faded?
"deborahm" wrote in message ... I want to edit my picture to be faded so I can use it as background with text over it. In Publisher you can do it one of two ways. For both ways start by inserting the picture. Method 1, right click on picture and select Format Picture, click on picture tab, then click on the dropdown for Color under Image Control and select washout (and you can use the brightness and contrast controls there to change the amount of washout.) Method 2, click on picture and with the toolbar that opens then change the contrast and brightness to the desired effect. I recommend going with method 1 because I think it starts with a better balance. If these simple tools or methods do not give the desired effect you may have to go to an image editing program to get the actual desired effect. Hope this helps, let us know. |
