You would need to specify the fax software, the method by which you are
sending the fax, and how you have the Fax printer configured for anyone to
be able to help you.

Microsoft Fax has not been in use for years. It went away with Windows 98.
Do you mean something else?
Could you state your question more clearly? Are you saying that when you fax
you get a printed copy instead of a fax or that you get both a fax and a
printed copy?

Work your way through the Fax Configuration Wizard. You likely have that
option selected there.

If I use File - Send to - Recipient using fax modem. No Issue no copies
printed but I have to go through the Fax wizard which is a head ache
but if I use File - print - Fax - it prints a copy and there is no option in
the fax configurating wizard to disable the print option.

Thanks GK

Keep looking. It's there.
I'll have to find a version somewhere to check where it is.
Are you trying Fax Configuration from the Fax Console's Tool Menu?

Sorry. I misread your post. I thought you were talking about faxes you
received, not sent.
I've never seen this issue. I know of no configuration option in the Fax
Service that would cause this. You might want to look at the settings for
your other printers and what is set to default.
