page numbering and attaching envelope

I add an envelope to the document, have a different first page header, and
insert page numbers (1 of 10), but when I add the envelope to the document,
it counts the envelope as the first page.

Any suggestions?

Press Alt+F9 to toggle on the display of field codes and change { numpages }
to { sectionpages }, then Alt+F9 again to toggle off the field codes.
