Default Moving text on UML sequence diagram messages

I want to be able to reposition the labels on UML sequence diagram messages
(I like them closer to the message line and to the receiving object).

I discovered how to do so for 1 message at a time (select the message, show
the ShapeSheet and set LockTextEdit to 0 which allows me to move the text
using the text block tool).

Is there anyway to set the LockTextEdit to 0 for multiple objects, or better
yet, default to 0 for all messages?

Thanks,
Ken
