How does Detect & Repair work on Office2000 SR-1?
After first installing Office 2000, I installed the SR-1 Service Pack rfom a
seperate CD-ROM. So, when I do a Detect & Repair on Office 2000, why does it ask for the original Office 2000 CD-ROM and not the SR-1 update CD-ROM? If an SR-1 file is corrupted, where does the Detect & Repair process get the proper file from? |

How does Detect & Repair work on Office2000 SR-1?
It is using the original files for detect and repair to compare the versions
and correct differences. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Um, but if it doesn't ask for the ***SR-1*** CD-ROM with the ORIGINAL SR-1
files, then it doesn't appear to really be doing what you're claiming, is it? "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote in message ...
