formula help
For me this seem like rocket science I have a feeling it will take you guys 1
min I am trying to build a football pool sheet I would like to have a formula that will give me a number of either 0 or 1 Example Bills VS Pats and buffalo wins I have Larry, Bob and Tina. Each picked a team they want to win Larry=Bills, Bob=Bills and Tina=Pats and I have they picks on the sheet The Bills win. Yeah Bills. So I type Bills in a cell What I want is a formula that will check the win cell and the cell for each person The cell right beside the team they picked I would have the formula I would like to have that cell show a 0 if they didn’t match the win and a 1 if they did So Larry=1 Bob=1 Tina=0 I want to do this so that every Sunday there are multiple games so it would allow me to add up there results to find out the winner I am a beginner with formulas I know I can do =EXACT(C12,E12) this will give me a TRUE and FALSE statement But how do I change that true or false to a 0 or 1 |

formula help
Here's 3 ways of changing that TRUE or FALSE to 1 or 0 respectively:
= 1* EXACT(C12,E12) = 0+ EXACT(C12,E12) = -- EXACT(C12,E12) Hope this helps. oooh i see
i was thinking of making a formula that looked to see if one was true or false then make the correct statement simple answers is the best if this is true then make it 1 if its false leave it 0 genius "Pete_UK" wrote: Here's 3 ways of changing that TRUE or FALSE to 1 or 0 respectively: = 1* EXACT(C12,E12) = 0+ EXACT(C12,E12) = -- EXACT(C12,E12) Hope this helps.
