Spell Check not working
Spell check for Office 2007, in at least Word 2007 and Outlook 2007 is not
working. Not only does it not recognize a misspelled word automatically, when I hit f7 it says all words are spelled correctly. the grammar check works just fine. It even has a problem with intentionally misspelled words like asdfasdf. I've checked the proofing options and everything seems to be checked that needs to be checked. This is a brand new install of Office 2007. |

Spell Check not working
I have the exact same problem. I bought it through Journeyed.com which sells
discounted software to students. I've tried everything! Maybe someone on this blog can help us both. "Greg" wrote: Spell check for Office 2007, in at least Word 2007 and Outlook 2007 is not working. Spell Check not working
Please help..I've read the article, but since I'm not very technical I do not
understand how to go about fixing this problem. I haven't been able to use my Spell Check for over 6 months now and getting very frustrated with it. Could someone please help fix this problem in simpler terms? "MD Mustafa Z" wrote: The same thing worked for me as well, i restarted outlook and word, both are working fine. Spell Check not working
Just copy and paste the script below into a command prompt. Once it says
completed, then you just need to restart outlook. Reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0\Override" /f "Bodio" wrote: Please help..I've read the article, but since I'm not very technical I do not understand how to go about fixing this problem. Spell Check not working
Don't know if this will help, but I had the same problem with 2007 outlook.
With a little trouble shooting I fixed spell check by going to "Help" which is to the right of "Tools". In the drop down menu of "Help" you will see something called "Disabled Items". Select "disabled items" and after selecting disabled items I got a window that had a selection of disabled items. I selected the item that contained the text "spell-en something, somehting" can't remember what he actual text was, but after clicking "Enable" spell check was working again. Not sure if this will work for all, but I thought I would share this as the only other fix for this that i could find was a registry edit fix... Spell Check not working
This worked for me:
Step 1: START/RUN/REGEDIT Step 2: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0 (rename “1.0″ to “zz1.0″ ) "Bodio" wrote: Please help..I've read the article, but since I'm not very technical I do not understand how to go about fixing this problem.
