Default Contacts Folder for VCards
I am using Outlook 2003 with Windows XP. I have two (2) Contacts folders,
one with my personal contacts and one with my company's contacts. When I receive VCards in e-mails, they automatically drop into my personal contacts. I would like them to go by default into my company's contacts. Is there a way to configure this? Thanks. |

After you open the vCard, use the "Move to Other Folder" command instead of
Save. -- Russ Valentine "Kokomojo" wrote in message ... I am using Outlook 2003 with Windows XP. I have two (2) Contacts folders, one with my personal contacts and one with my company's contacts. Default Contacts Folder for VCards
What type of email accounts are in your profile? Unless you have one account
and made a second Contacts folder for company contacts, it sounds like the personal pst is the default delivery location. If you make the company account default they will go into it. If you do have one account and 2 contacts folder, make a new folder for the personal contacts and move them to it. Move the company contacts to the now-empty default contacts folder. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Do you sync your mailbox with a smartphone or pda? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=39473 "Kokomojo" wrote in message ...
