How can i retain the FROM field in EMail moved to a new, general,.
any help? I have local folders of project related docs and want to store
email there to in its own folder but the FROM field seems to go away! any help would be greatly appreciated.

We don't even know which software you are using!
This newsgroup is for MIcrosoft Access, a database application and not general computer "access". If you use Outlook, try right-click any Column Heading and select "Customize Current View ...".
