Using Access 2000 with VB .Net
Hi
I am having a number of problems with a folder full of access databases which are opened according to who has logged on in this system I am writing. I have take the advice of the XP Pro group and ensured that I am identiried as the owner of the relevant folder. I and the System have the 'full control' we need. I can create a new database as part of testing a logon and it perists as it is updated and saved manually. These databases are completely unsecured Access databases in the Access sense of 'secured'. All the security is provided by the logic of the system I am writing Then as soon as my system attempts to open the new database it disappears and is reported by the logon not to exist. This phenomenon has only just started to occur Since the XP experts can not explain it, is it likely to be caused by something in Access Roger Stenson |
