Default can WP autotext be used in a spreadsheet

I have just mastered the use of autotext in a word document. Is it possible
to do the same thing in a speadsheet. I want to be able to type in the name
of a plant and then using autotesxt pull out all the information ? conditions
I have about it and include it in a speadsheet

Default can WP autotext be used in a spreadsheet

Use Data Validation for in-cell drop-down for selecting a plant and VLOOKUP
for the filling-in part.
