I did the fix recommended below: a-at the MS DOS PROMPT I typed attrib +s +r c:\windows\fonts b-restarted the computer This did not work either. I'm not sure what to try next, any suggestions? |

This doesn't really seem like an Office question but...
What type of fonts? The procedure you are using is good for True Type Fonts (*.ttf) ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.org/index.htm On Mon, 9 Apr 2007 16:26:01 -0700, in microsoft.public.office.misc, SID wrote: I downloaded some fonts from the Internet to my PC but I have been unable to install them into the Fonts folder. The new fonts were highlighted. When I selected OK, they became
unhighlighted but were not added to the Fonts folder. SID "Alan Edwards" wrote: OK.
