Default spaces input mask

I want to put more than 1 space in input mask (i.e. C" "C" "C"
"C) to use it on a report.

it seems like it's only spacing it properly when i don't put any spaces in
between the word (i.e. "THISISANEXAMPLE"). However, when I enter, "THIS IS AN
EXAMPLE" on the form, it's not taking the spaces i put in the input mask. why
is this? Is there a way to put more than 1 space in the input mask. Thank
in advance.
