Thank you for the help with alien solid horizontal lines. I will find my
problem document and try to fix it. My question still lingers though.....I
did not consciously create this line...it appeared when I was using the
underscore key to create a blank line on the form I was creating. Why does
this happen?

ToolsAutoCorrectAutoFormat As You Type then uncheck the box against Border
lines under Apply as you type.
