Outlook Won't Allow me to Check Address Book Names

I am always getting an error message when i am checking my address book from
Outlook 2003. It reads " The address list can not be displayed. The contacts
folder associated with this address list can not be opened; it may have been
moved or deleted, or you do not have permission. For information on how to
remove this folder from the outlook address book, See Microsoft Office
Outlook Help."...... I am not sure what this means and it is weird because
there are some points where it just works and it allows me to view all of my
address when i click on the address book icon and then there are some times
where it says that error message and it is getting really annoying. I have
tried deleting Outlook and reinstalling it but it does the same thing and it
