Default Power Point corrupting Excel

Hello,

A Power Point presentation I created, which is linked to
an Excel worksheet, has:

1. slowed all Excel file operations almost to a halt.
2. made my Power Point presentation unreadable. I cannot
access it. I am also unable to access copies of the
presentation I have emailed to other people.

I have purchased a new laptop; no improvement.
On the new laptop, I have upgraded to a new version of
MicroSoft Office; no improvement.

Help!

Thank you!

Hi. I'm not sure I see the connection here ... how have you determined that
it's this particular presentation that's slowing Excel down?
