Default Ducat assignment

I am trying to create database designed to produce inmate passes (ducats) for
various appointments on a daily bases. I have a form for data edit/input.
My problem is I use a combo box to select the inmate CDCnum, ImName,
ImHousing and display in text boxes. From the combo box I type or scroll to
the CDCnum. On click, the number, name and housing are displayed. CDCnum
in the combo box, ImName and ImHousing displayed in two text boxes below the
combo box. I then use a combo box and select the input fields “ducatTo”,
“ducatReason”, “ducatTime”, and “ducatDate”. Upon completion of the
edit/input, the data selected from the first combo box will not retain the
correct information as displayed in the ImName and ImHousing text boxes, only
the CDCnum, ducatTo, ducatReason, ducatTime and ducatDate are correct visible
and can be queried. I use =CDCnum.Column (1) and CDCnum.Column (2) to
display in the text boxes. I do not need to add records just edit. Can
anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance for any help
