Default How to set a new default view?

Every time I open Word 2000, it opens in a funky larger view.. I just want
it to open by default in "Normal" view.. like Word in days of old. How do I
change this default? Anyone know?

I hate to break the news to you, but Word 2000 _is_ "in days of old". :-)

Anyway, read http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Genera...iewAndZoom.htm for
enlightenment.
