Default Outlook 2003 freezes on booting

Every once in a few attempts to open it, I will get my emails downloaded, but
the next time I try, it freezes again at 50% download. I am using MS XP. It
worked fine yesterday morning.

Do you have any type of 3rd party security software installed that scans
e-mail as it is downloaded? (e.g. If you have an antivirus and/or antispam
product, try uninstalling temporary to see if continues.)

I found out what happened--my husband had installed Comcast Toolbar 3.0. I
un-installed it and now all is fine. Originally when I called Comcast to get
help, they said nothing that was installed from them would cause my
problem....HA!!
