Default can I change the size of the projected image?

-- Is it possible to change the size of the image projected on the screen?
I am changing from using a projector to flat screen format and want to show
the folk what the images will look like after the change but while still
using the projector. Any ideas will be helpful.
Thank you in advance
This is the day that the Lord has made. Rejoice!!

These articles may be of interest in assisting your search if you have an
older 4:3 aspect ratio projector and want to go to a widescreen 16:9 aspect
LCD or plasma.
