Outlook Connector with Windows Live Account without Hotmail
I have a Windows Live account that is NOT also a Hotmail account. Is it
possible to use Outlook Connector to sync the Windows Live Calendar and Contacts with this type of account? I know it won't work with the mail portion, obviously. The Windows Live Mail client will allow me to view and edit the Windows Live Calendar and Contacts, but the Outlook Connector just keeps giving an error that the "User account is inactive." The support URL it gives me (http://g.live.com/1OLC12URL/Support) doesn't work. I have included a screenshot of the Outlook Connector error (which just sits at "Connecting") as well as a copy of the "Detailed Report" log. Thanks, Yogi

it should work with live accounts. Are you using the old connector

I am using Outlook Connector version 12.0.6414.1000, which I have found out
after searching around is referred to as version 12.1 by Microsoft. Kinda weird, but I guess if they want to refer to Windows 6.1 as Windows 7, anything goes with version numbers. When you say, "it should work with live accounts," are you referring to
account with an @live.com address? Because, that is not how my account is setup. I have a Windows Live account setup using my own e-mail address.
