Changing the contact fields vs 2000
Im trying to merge a excel database into my contacts. When trying to map the
fields, the fields that I would like to use aren't listed in the mapping to destination. How do you create, or rename fields so that I can link my fields from excel? I would like the actual contact card itself to list these fields automatically as well -- ************************************************** ************************************************** ********** |

Outlook does not support importing to custom fields (which you can create using the Field Chooser for a table view of your contacts folder). You would need to write your own import code or use a third-party tool. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/customimport.htm
