Visio2003: creating a fillable shape from lines?
Howdy,
a simple question: how do I combine lines to form, say, a triangle that can later be filled with a color? I mean - what operations to use? Using Group and then Fill gives no result, likewise Shape::Operations::Combine, Union, .... do not work for this. But I believe there must be a way as simple as two or three clicks .... |

You gave up too soon. Assuming that the line ends match up, then, just
select all of the lines (cntl A works nicely if there's nothing else on the page), and then go to the menu bar shapes operations and chose "join". Shape should take fill color / patterns.
