Default How can I amke a drawing ellipse transparent

I have a Database Diagram and I am trying to utilize the Drawing toolbar and
the Ellipse. I am lassoing around a column name and I would like to then make
the Ellipse transparent so that the column name shows through.

Can someone help me out???

Thanks in advance for your review and hopeful for a reply.

menu Format - Fill
and set the fill transparency (not the shadow transparency, which is the more obvious
one!).
