list of tables
Hi i'm using (Windows Vista) and i'm trying to create a list of tables . how
can i put a caption for the table ( is it in the same way of figures) and how can i create the list of tables. Note: in each time i'm trying to insert a list of table, the program delete the the TOC and TOF and replace it with another ( table of figures)! please help

When asked if you want to replace the existing TOC, say no. Also, make sure
that you have at least one empty paragraph between any TOC/TOF and the next; although it may not be obvious, the paragraph mark you see below a TOC is actually inside the TOC field. -- Suzanne S.
