Default Get rid of spell check and grammar check squiggle lines

Or combine Suzanne's options with your entry into Styles, and when creating
HTML documents, set your HTML style to not check spelling & grammar.

By the way, you may also find this link useful:

Create a template for HTML coding that has the style with no language as the
default style.

Two other approaches for specific documents:

1. If you want to avoid spelling and grammar marking semi-permanently,
select all the text in the document and go to Tools | Language | Set
Language and check the box for "Do not check spelling or grammar."

2. On the Spelling & Grammar tab of Tools | Options, check the boxes for
"Hide spelling errors in this document" and "Hide grammatical errors in this
document." These options can also be toggled from the menu you get when you
right-click the Spelling and Grammar Status button on the status bar.
