Default OE 6 Help please

I downloaded SP 2 and have had nothing but trouble in my OE. My isp tech
support came out yesterday and fixed one problem, but we didn't know I have
this problem also. I do not have the option in instruction #3 following. I
use XP and OE6 I also cannot do a cut and paste within a message, but I can
in the subject line. Can anyone help me please? My isp (roadrunner) has
gone as far as they can, they say it's now a microsoft problem. arghhhhhhhh

Warning The Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail option is

this option. 1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Outlook

2. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Security tab.
3. Click to clear the Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail
check box.

If you had your anti-virus program running when you downloaded SP2, it well
may have prevented a clean install. If your A/V *was* running, then remove
SP2 via Add/ Remove Programs and reboot.

Confirm that everything is working as it was prior to the download. If it is
back the way it was, disable your anti-virus and download it again. Then
visit Windows Updates and download the 50 or so patches that will be waiting
for you *also* with your anti-virus disabled.

Awesome reply thank you. Do you think it will screw up my isp stuff again?
I don't think they (roadrunner) want to come back out again to fix it.

You said they fixed one problem, but I'm not sure what that problem was.
Downloading anything can cause problems occasionally, but it doesn't usually
involve the ISP. What was it that they fixed?

If you are missing the "Block Images........" checkbox in Tools | Options |
Security, there was definitely a bad install.

In OE | Help | About...., Scroll down to msoe.dll and post the number you
see there.

with their EZ armor.

You need to remove and reinstall SP2 as previously stated. I think the
firewall problem was a coincidence, but when you get SP2 up and running, go
to the Control Panel | Windows Firewall and turn it off. Running two
firewalls can cause problems.

As in the Start button and some icons? I think you have bigger problems with
