Default Keep Outlook express & Outlook contacts separate?

I have both Outlook and Outlook Express (2000) on my computer. I use Outlook
exclusively, but opened Outlook Express for my family to use when they visit
my home.

When I opened Outlook Express for the first time, a copy of all my Outlook
contacts appeared in Outlook Express.

I want to keep my contacts private. How do I prevent the my Outlooks
contacts from appearing in Outlook Express.

Set the UseOutlook registry value here to a zero (0):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4

The word "registry" terifies me! Isn't there an easier way?

Is there's a Tools menu Options command in OE's address book on your
machine?

Sure. Just open the Address Book in Outlook Express and go to Tools
Options...
Uncheck the option to share with Outlook there.
