Contacts missing in shared folder
Hello,
There might be a very simple solution to this but it is evading me at this time. Here is the scenario. We are running Outlook 2003 connected to Windows 2003 Small Business Sever with Exchange server. There are two people sharing Outlook contacts. When person B opens the shared contact folder of Person A, it shows 348 contacts. (Person A has 348 contacts in her contacts.) However certain contacts do not show up in Person B's Outlook. For trouble shooting, I moved 16 contacts that started with letter A to the shared folder of Person A. When person B opens person A's contact list, it shows 16 contacts in the status bar. However only 12 contacts are displayed. I think there is some sort of filter being applied but don't know how to turn it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -- Mike Weerasinghe |

Are the ones you can't see Marked Private - and created by the other user.
